CFMU Applications Access |
|
|
The CFMU has developed specific applications - also referred to as the "CFMU Access Services" - which allows customers to access on-line to CFMU systems: CHMI, CIR, and very recently the NOP Portal.
|
 |
 |
 |
Network Operations Portal (NOP Portal) |
 |
Last born of the CFMU Applications which allows all ATM actors to share a common view of the Network Operations situation in Europe and of the related plans as they evolve along the time.
It is intended for all categories of users which are involved in Air Traffic Management or Aircraft Operations (Aircraft Operators, Flight Plan originators, Air Navigation Service Providers, Airport Services).
The NOP Portal consolidates in one single interface all information previously accessible in particular via the CIA Application and the Operational Services section of the CFMU public website.

CFMU Interactive Reporting (CIR) |
 |
The CIR is a web interface allowing reports to be created from CFMU archived data. These reports can be used to derive performance & quality indicators, to monitor trends, create statistics relevant to the individual user. Reports can be generated instantly at any time with the possibility to compare archived data.

CFMU Human Machine Interface (CHMI) |
CHMI provides a graphical interface to the CFMU operational systems which allows users to display data and graphical information (such as routes, route attributes, airspaces, flight plan tracks, etc.) via map displays. As these maps are updated dynamically, therefore CHMI provides a more user-friendly display of 'real time' information.
To accommodate the variety of CFMU users’ needs, several different CHMI services have been developed. Each service consists of a subset of functions customized per category of users:
- CIAO - for Aircraft Operators
- CIFLO - for Flow Management Positions
- CIREN - for ENV Coordinators
- CITO - for Airport Towers
- and lately CIAM - for AMCs (Airspace Management Cell).

Important notice:
We strongly advise that only professionals experimented in flight planning should use CIAO. To fully benefit from this solution, a daily use is highly recommended, after appropriate training. If this is not the case, the NOP Portal may be considered.

The following link gives access to the download page for the CFMU applications, including the CFMU Software Token.
Also available for download is the RPL application which allows an Aircraft Operator to create RPL list files to submit to the CFMU in the appropriate electronic format.
Software should only be downloaded by authorised CFMU users who have received a valid user name.

These applications may be used either via the CFMU's dedicated network or via the Internet.
Important notice:
In most cases, these applications require a protected access via software token. The life duration of the tokens is limited to 5 years to cater for technological, operational or contractual evolutions.
When a token is not used for 6 months, the corresponding user account will be cancelled with a prior notice. Later, should you require a new access, you will have to submit a request for an additional user account, and will have lost the benefit of 1 free token.

In the CFMU Library of the CFMU public website you will find:
- An overview of the available CFMU Applications in the CFMU Services Catalogue (CFMU Access Services section)
- A brief description of the functionalities for each CFMU Application through the Service Leaflets and Factsheets
