CFMU Services & Customer Support

In addition to its core operational functions of processing/distributing flight plans and issuing ATFM slots, the CFMU provides a number of complementary services to its customers, in order to assist in their interaction with the CFMU.

This page provides an overview of the services and support that are available and of the conditions under which they are provided.

CFMU Services

The Services that are provided are:
  • Operational Message Addressing
This covers the provision of ATFCM/IFPS messages by EUROCONTROL CFMU direct to an Aircraft Operator or Handling Agent address specifically requested by the customer.
  • RPL Application
The RPL application enables an Aircraft Operator to create RPL list files to submit to the CFMU in the appropriate electronic format.
  • Access to CFMU Systems and Applications
CFMU provides to customers a portfolio of access services to CFMU systems through customised interfaces. These accesses allow users to interact with CFMU Operations, and to retrieve all kinds of information, from real time operational situations to archive data.

Important notice on eligibility

The CFMU services described in these pages are only available to those who are actively engaged in the operation of aircraft (and related support services), in Air Traffic Management or in Airport Operations.

Access to the CFMU systems and interfaces is granted subject to the signing of a Service Agreement which includes acceptance of the CFMU Data and Security Rules.

The CFMU reserves the right to refuse access to anyone who the CFMU considers does not belong to one of the above groups or who does not comply with the provisions set out in the Service Agreement.

Customer Support

The Customer Support section describes the practicalities of how to access the services detailed previously, and how to access CFMU Customer Support facilities in general.
