Data Provision and Reporting |
Because of its central position and of its pan-European nature, the CFMU produces a large amount of data which can be probed, investigated, and summarised in order to extract significant and quantitative information applicable to a large spectrum of areas, involving the monitoring, assessment and reporting on the performance of ATFM facilities, other ATM providers and users' behaviour. The scope of this activity is to provide access to this information in order to better understand the ATM activity and to improve the existing services.

The information collected and processed by the CFMU for its operational services is made available to other parties (in some cases, this is subject to service and/or confidentiality agreements) in order to:
- Assist our Stakeholders in forecasting future ATM requirements
- Provide Data to Stakeholders as a support for studies and analysis in the ATM field

To assist our Stakeholders, the CFMU User Relations and Development Bureau produce reports in order to:
- Provide an assessment of ATM performance during short to longer periods and enable corrective action by facilitating comparison of the actual traffic situation with the ATFM plan
- Assist all phases of ATFCM activity by providing a forecast flight demand model based on historical data
- Assist our Stakeholders in forecasting future ATM requirements
